MP Lacrosse Boys Fall Season Information

First of all, our Goal for this Fall Lacrosse Season is to keep the momentum of our successful Spring season by focusing on Stick Skills and Offensive/Defensive strategy.  All of the coaches have a great understanding of other Fall Sports commitments (most of our sons play multiple sports including football, basketball, and baseball).  There will be 2 practices a week (may be adjusted based on field availability), including our popular Sunday Funday.  The individual coaches will determine their second practice based on availability of their players in each age group and available field space.  Here is the Fall Lineup:

  • 2 practices a week, focusing on stick skills and lacrosse IQ (preparation for the Spring)
  • Sunday Scrimmages with Local Teams (Southlake, Keller, etc)
  • 2 Recreation Level Tournaments based on Player availability (several to choose from)
    • Examples that the players and coaches can choose from are:
      • Cowbell in Frisco -  Oct 5-6
      • Turlaxin in McKinney – Nov 2-3
      • Pink Out in Frisco – Oct 19-20
      • Aggieland Classic – Feb 8-9
  • High School Coaches training on particular skills (shooting, dodging, faceoffs, offense, defense, clears, etc)

We are committed to increasing our skill level by the Spring, while keeping MP Lacrosse EXTREMELY fall sport friendly.  Please let us know if you have any questions regarding our Fall Program…
