Welcome to Mustang Panther Youth Football!
Mustang-Panther youth football is dedicated to Grapevine and Colleyville residences and GCISD students. Our organization promotes the sport of football for children 5-12 years of age who live within the boundaries of GCISD.
FALL FOOTBALL
- Designed to introduce football at an early age. Players learn the fundamentals of the game including: catching, throwing, formations, routes, defensive skills, and more.
- 6v6 format with coach QB (K-1st)
- An 8-on-8 modified version of the game with the sole purpose of setting up confidence and success at the next level. Players continue to focus on the basic fundamentals of the game in full pads.
- Primary goals: technique, safety, and sportsmanship
- This is full 11-on-11 football with some modifications in special teams. Players continue to build on their technique as they gain in agility and athleticism with age.
Spring FOOTBALL
- 7-on-7 is the perfect supplement to fall tackle football. The rules are built to emphasize route-running and catching. It offers a non-contact version of football that is fun and competitive during the offseason.
- One-hand touch (no flags).
